The FAB Flicks “summer of sports” movie series ends on a high note, with a Disney comedy classic, “Cool Runnings.”
Four Jamaican bobsledders (Leon, Doug E. Doug, Malik Yoba, Rawle E. Lewis) dream of competing in the Winter Olympics, despite never having seen snow. With the help of a disgraced former champion (John Candy) desperate to redeem himself, the Jamaicans set out to become worthy of Olympic selection, and go all out for glory.
This FAB Flicks screening will be held at Gates Avenue Plaza (Fulton at Gates and Vanderbilt), a first for the temporary plaza space.
