Community Connect: Unveiling Local Organizations for Empowered Engagement is an engaging town hall designed to foster a deeper understanding of the diverse range of community organizations operating in the FAB Fulton area.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about various local organizations, including nonprofit groups, grassroots initiatives, advocacy networks, volunteer associations, and social service providers. Through an informal panel discussion, participants will gain insights into the missions, goals, and activities of these organizations as representatives share experiences, successes, challenges, and ongoing projects. Attendees will have the chance to connect directly with these representatives, enabling them to ask questions and explore potential avenues for future engagement, in the form of possible volunteering opportunities, fundraising initiatives, and ways to contribute their time, skills, and resources to various causes that align with their interests and values.
Join us at performing arts space JACK NY to learn more about the organizations that serve our community! Invited guests include Brooklyn Community Board 2, Fort Greene Park Conservancy, IMPACCT Brooklyn, Grow Brooklyn, and One Community.
